12 Volt Blow-Dryer
Who doesn’t know the problem of moisture on the optics? Despite a dewcap, optics can literally drown. Many a time, the night of observing will come to a sudden end. If you had to drive a long way to your observing place, you’re punished twice. With the 12 Volt blow-dryer you can now act against the humidity. The item has a fold-away handle, so that it has a minimum packing size of only 10 x 11,5 centimetres.
It is made of robust plastic and weighs ca. 300 grammes. It has a power of 160 watts and thanks to its 12V car plug, it can be run effortlessly from energy packs or directly from the cigarette lighter in a car.
However, I warn of using it too long on a car battery. The energy consumption of such items may not be underestimated.
